Dear Ross

My new Icom 7000 has just arrived - naturally the first thing I did was
enter all the local repeaters then start playing with all the different
features.

The speech synthesizer and bandscope are a neat little addition. Hasn't
taken me long to learn how to drive it. I'm playing with the MNF on 20
metres at the moment seeing how it affects the reciever. This is a great
little radio - thanks for sending it up express - The guys and I will
now have a new toy to play with, courtesy of the best toy shop, Strictly
Ham. I wouldn't have been able to do it without your convenient laybuy
system, which will come into play again soon when I buy a CP-6 antenna.

I'd just like to thank Strictly Ham for the excellent
service, the excellent price and first class product.  I recently
purchased the IC-7700 and IC-2820H, I am more than impressed and
knowing that I have 3 year warranty on the products and genuine Icom
support is a real comfort on such an investment. I will be back again
for my next lot of requirements without a doubt the best outlet in

Hello Ross,

Having joined EMDRC and completed the course on the 6th of October, I
sat the foundation exam the day after and passed 100%.
I was offered a shot at the standard exam and thought I'd take it as a
practice run to get an idea of what's required for a later upgrade.
Well it didn't quite work out as a practice, the thing is I actually
passed it! Soon after, the regs exam was complete and i was destined for
a standard licence, very exciting indeed.

Now I needed a radio. The blokes at the club said I'd need to visit the
'Toy Shop'.
I've made 2 trips now to your shop Ross and the service and advice is A1.
Whilst others were trying to flog me grey market imports and accessories
I didn't really need you were open and honest, only selling me what I
needed (even though I was eye balling everything in the shop).
It was just over a week ago now I left your shop, with my brand new ICOM
IC-7000 radio. You showed me a demo, ran me through the functions and
then sold me one.
For someone whom has never operated an amateur HF rig before it can be a
very testing time with all of the different radios and technologies
available, you made it easy.

I've now had the IC-7000 for over a week, and I am really enjoying tuning
around and getting to know it.
I can't wait to transmit, I've heard my licence may be ready today or
tomorrow.

These days they say "Quality, Service, Price,.. choose any 2", Ross, you
looked after me on all 3.

Looking forward to being on air as much as I'm looking forward to making
my next trip to your shop.

Just thought I'd take a few minute to extend my thanks for the pristine
unit you sent me. What a lovely radio. I can't believe the beautiful
audio straight from the inboard speaker. The TM-D700A proves to be
intuitive to work initially and the advanced settings promise many hours
of fun working through the various menus. Audio reports through the
local repeater have been excellent (allowing for me adapting to the
different dynamics of the Kenwood mic/front end from my Icom's). I am
very happy and extend my thanks and appreciation for your input and
patience with my final decision.

Thanks for taking the time to talk me through my thought processes and
decision making. Often the operator at the point of sale loses sight of
just what customer service is all about. In your instance I can
truthfully acknowledge that even in what have been recognizably your
busiest times, you have extended every courtesy and patience;
exemplifying the definition of true "customer service".

Dear Ross,
I can't believe the accessories i ordered from you arrived within
3 days from Australia to the U.S. I can't get a letter from one side of the
U.S. to the other in 3 days, yet the items i ordered from you half way around the
world were here so quick.
