Strictly Ham Logo Australia's Largest Amateur Radio Dealer

On The Lighter Side Of Amateur Radio.

Dear me, what the hell is going on, stock, stock and a little more stock,
unlike others who think they are the largest importer around, want
you to wait while they order your product from the U.S. drop prices in the meantime
on stock they don't have, yikes any moron can do that, at least, we actually do carry stock,
and a bloody lot of it, as this picture shows, of course
these photo's don't show it all, could a larger premises be on the books, at
the rate we are going i would say it could be a definate possibility, maybe
another branch opening in Sydney, could it be.......

A recent visit to the home of amateur radio has produced another great coffee time moment,
John (VK5NJ) and his better half Tanina made a flying visit to the toy shop
to pick up his new prized possession, John couldn't wait to get going again
on the way back to Mt Gambier to try his new radio out, sorry John, Tanina has other
ideas, you have to wait till the shopping spree is over for her, patience mate,
everything comes to those who wait.

What's this, Beth VK2AO, and what is she doing, yes you guessed it, she is picking
up her brand new IC-7700, and her new D-Star radio, and what more,
it's not one of those parallel imports you may find floating around on the market
In NSW or Qld. Does she look happy, of course she does.
She has purchased her brand new radio from the greatest dealer in the free world.
Talk about a coffee time moment, yes we and beth can have our coffee and cake
and eat it too. (Cake was after this picture was taken)
Thanks Beth, I'm sure you'll have heaps of fun with your new purchases.

Melbourne's recent run of bad weather was the perfect time for a well know eastern
suburbs amateur to do a little remodeling of his shack, funny way to do it with
a gum tree though, all jokes aside, it's just lucky Jim VK3AMN was not inside
when this rather large part of his tree decided to come crashing down.
And what more the radio gear is safe and sound.

What's this, could it be a new line of Strictly Ham clothing coming, who
knows, may be shirts, pens and Mugs, they could be available in the near
future, who is this gorgeous model with the Strictly Cap, my wife of course.

Oh Dear, the local hat man who shall remain nameless has been at it again.
Seems the options are endless, although I and many of you may find this
cap funny, i know of at least 3 people who won't, should I be daring
and send them all one with my compliments !!!!!!!!
Nah!!! i don't think they will see the funny side of it.

Guess Who!!!! Yes it is Captain D-Star (VK3TQ), hard at work at the recent Melbourne D-Star
Launch, Peter is explaining in detail the features of D-Star, who is that in the background,
yep, you got it, it's antenna man, no mast to mount the antenna on, so guess who gets to hold it,
do the sums 50W into a 6db antenna at inches away = my god, any wonder
my face was tingling.

Recent events at the local E.M.D.R.C. Christmas breakup are the cause
of this dramatic picture, could it be these three strapping lads have had
too much to drink, or are they just drunk on Amateur Radio,
either way they still look like gooses, left to right they are,
Dave (VK3LOZ), Damian (VK3SOX) and Jim (VK3AMN).

The first week of Christmas specials brings young William into the store,
another new foundation call to be heard on the airwaves, William
is the proud owner of a new FT-60R, good on you William, enjoy
the hobby and your new purchase.

We at Strictly Ham welcome everyone, even our goods friends from VK2 when they visit,
although Martin made it 24hrs early to club day at the local toyshop, we still would not
turn him away, all are welcomed with open arms so to speak, Martin met a few of the
locals on his recent visit to the toyshop.
Pictured above in the back row from left to right are, Martin (VK2XMS) and Greg (VK3FUNK)
Seated from left to right are, Matt (VK3MPV), Randall (VK3RM) and Petrina (VK3MY's Better half)

As part of the Authorised Dealer network, Strictly Ham has a excellent working
relationship with all it's competitors/dealers, as this photo shows Carol & Graham
from G&C Communications also feel the same way as we do, working together
to help you the customer in any way we can, if i can't help you out, then give them a call
i'm sure they will be able too.

Oh dear, what have we here, in the background it's Trucker John (VK3PJA),
and what is that in his hand, yes it's coffee, seems a lot of coffee gets
drunk around this place, and what is in the foreground,
it's Macca's, who's be eating Macca's, not real good for the waist line,
in the foreground is Lionel (VK3NM), just trying to decide on his new purchase.

Who are these strapping group of Amateur Radio Operators
enjoying their coffee and cakes while chewing the fat at
the local toy shop, but wait, the group isn't complete, who
took the photo.
From left to right they are,
VK3ARK,VK3KV,VK3MY,VK3RM & VK3MR (being silly)

Words fail me, is it the look on his face, or is it the fact he is
about to shove that Lamington where it shouldn't go, John
VK3ARK is meant to be on a diet, John you won't loose
weight this way, give them up once and for all.

This young man loves his cakes and coffee, in fact in the Strictly Ham daily routine
this bloke drinks more coffee than everyone else combined, could it be, yes it is
the raving maniac (VK3RM)

Who Say's You Can't Have Your Cake And Eat It Too, Ask Peter, VK3TQ From Icom Australia, He Will Tell You Otherwise.

As you can see Peter is hard at work, coffee in one hand, cake in the other, but seriously our Non Factory Unauthorized Reseller competitors think we do this all day everyday, do we !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only we can tell, and we won't...........

Why might you ask can we have our cake and eat it too, well it comes down to one simple fact, the great bargains, ultimate customer service and excellent working relationship with our suppliers.
